Hello and welcome to my blog site! I'm currently a second year student studying journalism at the University of Portsmouth, whilst also living here. 

 

I created this blog to share all of my past travel experiences and upcoming adventures with you all, highlighting both the good and the bad. Travelling has been the main highlight of my life so far and I'm grateful for the self development opportunities I've attained as a result; it’s truly refreshing yet life changing being able to experience so many cultures, meet new people, try different cuisines and make lifelong memories. It leads to personal growth and development, open mindedness and just a whole new level of independence. 

 

Despite still being a rookie traveller, I hope that I’m still able to incorporate these qualities into my writing and connect with you all so that you can not only laugh at my bad/learning experiences, but also leave my blog feeling inspired and equipped enough to venture out and explore the world beyond you.

 

The best thing I love about travelling, is how it gives you an opportunity to disconnect from your routine responsibilities and detox from stress. My point is further proven by shocking 2023 research, recently conducted by Jersey Island Holidays, showing that people are 30% more likely to have a heart attack if they go 5 years without a vacation!

So far I’ve been fortunate enough to travel to six countries across three continents (which you can find more about when you read my blog posts) and this is only just the beginning! The fact that I’m only just getting started and you are here to come along and witness this with me makes it that much more sentimental so pack your suitcases and let's embark on this journey together. However, not only will you see all things travel on my page, but my content will also consist of reviews, advice, news articles and much more so buckle up, figuratively and literally!
